Hello everyone,

I have been busy today and yesterday creating a facebook group and a page for the church that supports us. I have also spent some time refining the list of items in great need. As well as working on putting together a web page so that when I am settled in Denver I will be able to update you on stories of the people we are helping with our group.

I have been talking with the leader of the church who is supporting us about an updated list of things that we are needing.

Putting together care packages.

Today was a long day. I have been working with a friend of mine here and the leader of the church in Denver, CO who is supporting us to get a list of  things that the homeless need the most. I also went shopping today to gather some much needed things to put together care packages.

Right now our care packages consist of;
1-travel size one load of tide laundry soap
1-2fl oz bottle of hand sanitizer
1-2oz tube of lotion
1-1.7fl oz bottle of shampoo+body wash
1-toothbrush new in package
1-0.85oz tube of tooth paste
1-travel package of tylenol 8 hour pain medication
1- 2oz stick of deodorant
1-travel poncho
1- 2pack of razors
1-2.25oz can of shaving cream
1- full size bar of soap
1-set of hand towel and washcloth
3-packages of peanut butter crackers

We also have had requests for socks, boxers and woman's underwear of all sizes. If you have a suggestion please could you drop us a line and let us know.

I am working hard to get at least five or six done so that I can send them to Denver
